Bio: After high school I left Traverse for college downstate, where I met my wife, Irene. I returned in 1979 and opened a psychotherapy practice from which I later retired in 1991 in order to join Irene in developing retail stores. Along the way we acquired a small “herd” of 7 horses. We moved ourselves and the horses to Texas in 2000, having either closed or sold our stores in Traverse. We opened our 10th and final retail store in 2005 in Texas, which we sold in 2013 in order to retire. We now live in Arizona
