Bio: The last 50 years have passed to fast but it has been a good 50 years in many ways but said in other ways. My dear father and father-in-law passed away and my brothers, one had cancer and the other a heart attach. I’ve experienced a lot of back problems. I finished my college degree up in 1997 going to school at nights and working everyday. It was a busy time. Took up long distance running in 1996. Ran 10 25k’s here in Grand Rapids and 4 marathons in my late 50’s in Chicago. I retired December 30th, 2011 after 36 years with the State of Michigan.
