Note: I have a conflict. I have a Colorado elk tag finally after 8 years of applications for a difficult tag. Muzzle loader season in Colorado overlaps reunion date. Say hello for me. I will be hunting in Colorado with my son-in-law, Tom Willman – also TCHS graduate from Traverse City.

I’ve been enjoying retirement from the MDNR Fisheries Division since Oct. 2002. My wife Kathrin and me live near Bentley, MI. on an old 80 acre farm with our 2 sons (Eric 22, kevin 20, and kevin’s friend Danielle who are attending Delta College). We enjoy a cabin in the W UP at Felch (60 miles NW Escanaba) where mostly we canoe, hunt (turkeys, deer, bear, ducks, geese, woodcock and grouse) and fish brook trout and panfish. It’s a small world as our neighbors in Felch are also TCHS graduates(class 60).Kathrin is a fisheries biologist(MDNR) stationed at Bay City and hopes to retire too in a couple of years. My older children (Karin, Todd and Janice) live in the Traverse area and Tom is in Aurora, MN. I wish you all a friendly/joyful reunion. My 2 daughters Janice on the right (Kalkaska) and Karin(TC) are pictured with me at Janice’s last winter.
